Ultra short pulse oscillators-generators
“Integrated Fiber Optics” in collaboration with Center for Physical Sciences & Technology develops a new design of ultrashort pulse self starting fiber oscillator-generators using a spectral broadening caused by self-phase modulation due to pulse propagation in a fiber and double-alternating spectral filtering.
Efficient optical frequency converters with longitudinal temperature gradient
“Integrated Fiber Optics” develops and produces a new design of efficient optical frequency converters with longitudinal temperature gradient along nonlinear crystals for fiber lasers. In the laboratory was shown that the spectral-bandwidth and conversion efficiency of the second harmonics generation can be significantly increased by imposing a constant temperature gradient along a nonlinear crystal.
Device for non-reciprocal transmission of light beam (isolators and circulators)
“Integrated Fiber Optics” develops new type of innovative device for non-reciprocal transmission of light beam. Device can be used where it is necessary to transmit the light beam forward by preventing reverse transmission. For example, non-reciprocal transmission devices are used as isolators or valves permitting an light beam to propagate in one direction only and the light beam propagating in the reverse direction is either blocked or diverted to a beam trap and never reaches the isolator entrance.
